We are looking for:

Quantitative Strategist/Developer

As a Quantitative Strategist, you will play a key role in our investment strategy team, responsible for developing and implementing complex mathematical models to identify market opportunities and guide investment decisions. You should possess exceptional data analysis skills, a deep understanding of financial markets, and robust quantitative and programming abilities. In this role, your key responsibilities include:

Model Development and Analysis:

  • Design, develop, and maintain quantitative models for market prediction, risk management, and portfolio optimization.
  • Conduct statistical analysis of market data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Collaborate with the data science team to integrate new data sources and techniques into models.

Strategy Implementation:

  • Work closely with the trading team to implement quantitative strategies in live trading environments.
  • Monitor and adjust strategies in response to market conditions and performance metrics.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the efficacy and efficiency of trading algorithms.

Research and Innovation:

  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in quantitative finance, machine learning, and big data analytics.
  • Conduct research to explore new trading ideas and quantitative methods.
  • Publish findings and present insights to internal teams and potentially at industry conferences.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with various teams including risk management, technology, and trading to align strategies with broader company objectives.
  • Effectively communicate complex quantitative concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Participate in the mentoring and development of junior team members.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Financial Engineering, Computer Science).
  • Demonstrated experience in quantitative analysis, model development, or strategy in financial markets.
  • Strong programming skills, preferably in Python, R, or MATLAB.
  • Knowledge of financial markets, instruments, and quantitative trading strategies.

Software Engineer, Core Algorithm Development

As a Software Engineer in Core Algorithm Development at AIScend, you will contribute to the heart of our AI-driven platform by developing and optimizing algorithms for financial analysis. This role involves working on NLP algorithms, RAG algorithms, and AI Agent algorithms to enhance our platform's analytical capabilities. You will collaborate closely with data scientists and database engineers to integrate these algorithms, ensuring they are scalable and effective.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with experience in software engineering and a focus on algorithm development.
  • Expertise in system architecture design, recommendation algorithms and time series analysis algorithms.
  • Proficiency in RAG algorithms and AI-Agent development platforms (OpenAI API, Llama Index).
  • Strong analytical skills and a passion for solving complex problems in financial analysis.

Data & Database Engineer, Financial Systems

As a Data & Database Engineer at AIScend, you will play a crucial role in both the acquisition and management of financial data, serving as the backbone for our AI-driven financial analysis platform. Your responsibilities will span from designing and maintaining sophisticated data pipelines for data acquisition and quality assurance to architecting and managing scalable, secure data storage solutions. This dual-focused role requires a deep understanding of financial datasets, technical expertise in data engineering, and a strong foundation in database management to support our AI models and analytical tools effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field, with strong problem-solving skills and experience in data engineering and database management, particularly within a financial context.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and AWS services (e.g., S3, Glue, Lambda, DynamoDB, Redshift), with the ability to design, implement, and maintain data acquisition and storage solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with web scraping tools (BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium) and real-time data streaming technologies (Apache Kafka, Amazon Kinesis).
  • Expertise in managing both relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational databases (DynamoDB), as well as experience with vector and graph database platforms (e.g., Pinecone, Neo4j) is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to improve data collection, storage, and analysis processes.
